When you contact our dental office, you will be greeted by our receptionist, Suzette. You will be scheduled for your first visit with Dr. Blum for an initial exam, periodontal evaluation, and a complete set of X-rays. Dr. Blum will make a treatment plan and explain everything to you regarding your dental health. Depending on your specific needs, you will either be re-appointed with Dr. Blum to start your treatment or scheduled with our hygienist Heather Mejia to start your hygiene care system or periodontal scaling needs. If you have any further questions, please get in touch with our office.

INSURANCE COORDINATOR/ TREATMENT PLANNING
Tetla Mendez Campbell
I always knew that I wanted to work in the healthcare field. However, the dental office is the last place I thought I would end up. After graduating from Medvance Institute in 1996 as a Medical and Coding coordinator, I thought I would work in the hospital or a doctor's office. However, I got a detour to the dental field. The profession of dentistry is a highly complex field to enter. It is both challenging and rewarding.
It was one of the best decisions I have made because helping people is my passion, so as an insurance coordinator/ treatment plan coordinator, it allows me to help my patients maximize their insurance benefits according to their needs while getting financial assistance if needed.
Patients' oral health is our top priority, and as a treatment coordinator, I continue to educate myself with continuing education to help our patients as best as I can. My goals are to improve the patients' experience, exceed their expectations, and build lasting dental relationships.
I joined Dr. Mark Blum's Team in the fall of 2015; he is genuinely an excellent dentist who takes the time to listen to every patient's needs. His passion for dentistry makes me want to give all I can to our patients.
Daily, I interact with our patients on a one and one basis, not just seeing them as patients but as family, which gives me the satisfaction of knowing I am helping someone. I love helping people, so getting positive feedback at the end of each day is fulfilling.
